How does the popular online encyclopaedia "Wikipedia" deal with many people who use it to spread wrong information online? The site says it uses 'Bots and Cyborgs' for this purpose. What race these Bots and Cyborgs, and how do they work? How can they be used to reduce the spread of false information online? Thanks.

How does Wikipedia combat vandalism?

With the increase of users of "Wikipedia" vandalism also increased. But authority of "Wikipedia" using communicational tools 'Bots and Cyborgs' to minimize this problem. Repetitive tasks directly handled by 'Robots or bots' and 'Cyborgs' control the human activities by creating interfaces like as a ironman. The 'Bots and Cyborgs' are doing effective filtering vandalism to save "Wikipedia" from loosing reputation.

Many types of 'Bots' are used here and they perform various type of job in "Wikipedia". They can perform repetitive works hundred or thousands time within a minute. Among them some are verifying spelling mistake comparing with universal dictionary. Finally a 'Bots' series works together to protect encyclical activities.
