Hello,

There is a very good free and complete office suit called open office which includes almost all the options that you will need and the best thing about it is that it is free. You can get the full suit from you can select just the spread sheet or the full suit. You can get it from here http://www.openoffice.org/ . I hope it helped.

How to download excel spreadsheet explorer?

If you want to view, print, or open Office Excel worksheet or workbooks though you don’t have Microsoft Office Excel on your PC, the best way to do it is to use Excel Viewer. Aside from opening, viewing, and printing Office Excel workbooks, you can also copy data from Excel Viewer to another program. However, you are only limited to those functions.

You cannot save a workbook, edit data, or create a new workbook. If the workbook you are trying to view is located on Windows Live SkyDrive, there is no need to download a viewer because SkyDrive has its own Excel Web App which lets you open the workbook on your web browser. You can also edit the workbook on your web browser if you have permission.

To download, go to Download Excel Viewer and install it. This download is a replacement for the Excel Viewer 97 including all previous versions of Excel Viewer. It supports Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. This version of the Excel Viewer applies to the following Office applications:
