How to download free win installer latest version? I wasn’t informed about the latest version of win installer and now I want to be sure the specific name and website that will allow me to download the best and latest version for some new features.

You can get the latest Windows Installer at the Microsoft website. Here are some of the features of Windows Installer 4.5: Multiple Package Transaction – It allows a single transaction for multiple packages. Embedded UI Handler – This feature allows you to embed custom user interface handler in Windows which makes it easier to integrate.

There is also the ‘Embedded Chainer’ and ‘Update Supersedence Resiliency.’

Hello,

You can download the latest available version of Windows Installer from Microsoft.com. As till now Microsoft has just launched the Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable on 6/2/2008 (Latest Version).

Here are some new features of windows installer 4.5 Redistributable.

• Multiple Package Transaction
• Embedded UI Handler
• Embedded Chainer
• Update Supersedence Resiliency
• Shared Component Patching Resiliency During Uninstall
• Custom Action Execution On Update Uninstall

How to download free win installer latest version?

If you want to update Windows Installer to the latest, go to the Windows Installer 4.5 download page. Download only the version specific to your operating system. Windows Installer 4.5 supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Vista including Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008. On my computer, I have Windows 7 and it has Windows Installer 5.0.

Windows Installer 5.0 is released for the following operating systems:

• Windows 7
• Windows 8
• Windows Server 2008 R2
• Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
• Windows Server 2012
• Windows server 2012 R2

Unfortunately, there is no redistributable for Windows Installer 5.0.
