You can access these by following the instructions:

1. Right click on the desktop and click on the gadgets.
2. Click on get more gadget online as shown in the picture below you can add all sorts of gadgets from there.

You can download windows 7 military desktop gadget from Microsoft web site.

Here is the link for you https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13787/gadgets-have-been-discontinued. I think it is very reliable.

First go this site and click on download, in the download section just select what version of windows you use such as windows 7.
