Hi,

How to download msde 2000 windows 7 32bit? Is there a step by step process on the proper download and installation of this software? I always fail when it comes to installation.

I need your help.

How to download msde 2000 Windows 7 32bit?

MSDE works well under win 32bit. And for that you need to setup with a strong password, using command. Please try download the latest msde. If get trouble after that you can also use a SQL server 2008 management studio to connect to the msde 2000 instance and SQL server 2000 isn't supported on vista+OSS'. The install may be blocked by windows.

How to download msde 2000 Windows 7 32bit?

MSDE is not supported by Windows 7 so it will  not work. The SQL 2005 SP3 and 2008 SP1 are supported. But according to some, they successfully installed MSDE with Windows 7 without getting any problems. If you can, please try to download the most recent MSDE version and then use the following command to start the installation: setup /sapwd=strongpassword.

According to your recommendation, I have downloaded the most recent MSDE version. After carefully following your steps, I was able to start the installation.
