I have a lengthy video that I need to compress. I have not done this compression before so I do not know how to begin. Please guide me through the process from start to finish by detailing the ideal type of software to use for high quality output. When you compress a video, does that mean the new data file will remain the same forever or you can reverse the process to its original state?

How to Efficiently Compress a Lengthy Video

There are several ways to compress your video.

1. Just open WinRAR and compress with it. For so right click on the file and click 'Add to archive'.

2. You may compress with KGB Archive. It will reduce your files size without losing your file quality. For that you have download that software. You may find it by searching from Google.
