Hi all,
I am using Internet Explorer for surfing on internet. Now, I wanted to make this explorer somewhat secure so that I can check the surfing history of internet after me. My younger brother also uses same laptop, so I wanted to view the sites hi surfed. Can anyone help me out how to enable internet explorer addons cookie for making internet explorer more secure and protected.
How to enable addons cookies in internet explorer for security.
Hi Fred,
First of all what version of IE are you using? You can check it by going to "Help" then "About Internet Explorer". After that, let's say that you are using Internet Explorer 9. We'll need to find where the Internet Option is located.
For IE 9:
1. Click on the Gear Wheel at the top right corner of the browser
2. Click on "Internet Options"
3. Click on the "Privacy Tab"
In the "Privacy Tab" you will see a slider and is usually set to default. You can change the level of security by moving the slide. When you set it to "Low" then it will accept all the cookies from any website.
To view the browser history you can click on the star icon located next to the tabs at the top of the screen then choose history option. Another way of accessing it is by pressing CTRL+H.
Hope this helps!
