How to extract file rar damage ?

Hi Experts,

I am having windows XP on my desktop, and I am having an archived file in rar format.

I need to extract this file to get some PDF files.

Can any expert tell me how to extract file rar damage?

How to extract file rar damage ?

Hello Halleleilani2,

To extract rar format file in windows XP you have to follow those steps.

1. Download rar software.

2. Install the downloaded software.

3. Then you go your archived rar format file.

4. Click right button and extract files in your selected location.

This way you can extract your rar format files.

How to extract file rar damage ?

Dear Friend,

I will give you the solutions of:

1. Extracting simple .rar file

2. Extracting Damaged .rar file (Corrupt .rar file)

Steps to Extract Simple ,rar file is:

Right Click .rar file and click "Extract here" option. The file will become extracted automatically.

Extracting Damaged File:

The extract Damaged file has 2 ways to extract.

First Way:

Right Click .rar file and elect "Extract Files" option. Then check the option "Keep broken files" in the Misc option and click "Ok"

Second Way

If your .rar file is damaged then install the software "Recovery toolbar for RAR then open the software and give it the path of that .rar damaged file which you want to extract. a click next > next and then ok.

Your file will be successfully extracted all the file including damaged files.
