How can i find or retrieve files that i may delete from my flash disk ?

How to find files deleted from a flash disk

Hey Edward Morley!

I will tell you the procedure of retrieving deleted files from the USB stick. But before moving forward you have to make sure that you have not formatted your USB, otherwise this procedure will not work.

So, to retrieve your deleted files, you have to download software from the internet, called Restorer.

Once download it, Install it. After installing the program, run it.

The software will check all your drives. Insert your USB stick in CPU and click on refresh button. Now you will be able to see you USB in the list. Select your USB drive. The software will show you the list of deleted files after scanning. Select all the files which you want to retrieve and click on recover button.

You will get your files back.

How to find files deleted from a flash disk

 

Before anything else, make sure that no other action has been made with your flash disk such as formatting it, copying new file or creating a new folder, running scandisk, or anything. This will affect the process of recovering all the files that are still hidden inside your flash disk. Next thing to do is download a recovery software.

 

Here are some of the softwares that you can use:

• Piriform Recuva
• Pc Inspector File Recovery
• Recover My Files

 

Choose the software that you best think will solve your issue. Most free softwares doesn’t have all the capabilities of a preemium software.

 

Once you have the software, just follow the instructions on how to use it. Usually, a readme or readtext file comes with the download and installation. Select all the files you wish to recover.

Thankfully this site exists. I finally retrieved my files using the data recovery software that you suggested. Thanks for helping me out.
