How to find out MAC address of android device

I am using Android and to improve network security, I enabled MAC address filtering in my router. But a message pops up on the screen of my tablet asking me to enter the MAC address of my device. Can any expert guide me how to find out the MAC address of my device?

How to find out MAC address of android device

Locating MAC address on an Android Phone:

1.   Click the menu button on the home screen.

2.   Select Settings

3.   Click About phone and select Status/hardware information

4.   You’ll be able to see your MAC address.

Locating MAC address on an Android Tablet:

1.   Click the menu button on the home screen.

2.   Select Settings

3.   Click About tablet and select Status

4.   You’ll be able to see your MAC address.
