Hi to every one. Almost every one is aware of windows and its working principle.
Different processes work together at a time while window is running.
I am searching for some software which could record processes running and memory used by them.
Can any one tell me how to find windows process tree so that I can check process performance, working and detail etc.
Please help me.
How to find Windows process tree software for window xp plate-form?
Hello Mr Shirlyn,
You can very easily monitor CPU usage or find other process information through Windows Task Manager. To bring up the task manager press Ctrl+Alt+Delete button.
In the task manager Application tab shows running applications, Processes tab shows active processes, information about services in Service tab, Graphical history of CPU and Physical memory usage in Performance tab, net connection status in Network tab and user information in User tab.
If you still want to use any advanced software to acquire process information then download Process Monitor. It is a very useful utility which provides real-time information about your system, registry and process.
You can also try Process Explorer, Click here to download.
Hope this helps.
Best regards.

Hi Shirlyn winchel,
Thank you for your question. Actually its not a serious task.
You can monitor easily by task manager, which is a component of windows.
So, think no need to think for third party software.
By pressing the following key you can enter the task manager option.
Ctrl+Alt+del
Shift+ctrl+Esc
Though the second one is more effective one.
For third party software you can visit the site
Its a freeware software.

Well, I think Process Explorer is the best solution for you because it has many super utilities that other task management software's don’t support. You can “restart,” “kill,” “suspend,” and “create dump” of a process or a process tree easily.
It can be run just by clicking the main EXE file.
Process Explorer shows a lot of descriptions of a process, that makes the GUI a little bit disengaged, but I think that it is better than Process Monitor.
Also, you can fix any process errors with Process Explorer, so I don’t think you should be worried about comparing both.
Plus, if your taste is on Process Monitor’s side, you are free to use it.
