I need help in solution to this problem. My computer doesn’t show any picture, images, or even the image transfer shuts out. By any chance to this, I could see an error code of “0x804E95B7”. The following are my hardware specifications: Intel E6700 processor, NVIDIA 8600 GS Video Card, ASUS PW5 DH Deluxe Motherboard, 4GB 800MHz DDR2 OCZ Special Ops Edition of memory, and Antec 620Watts Power Supply. Running with it is a Windows XP. How can I resolve this?
How to fix Error 0x804E95B7?
Hello Harry Parker,
That error could be occurring as a result of changing the default format in which the pictures are to be displayed and viewed. You may have changed it by mistake and therefore I will advice that you restore the default format for opening pictures and other images. To do this, just follow the procedure below:
Locate one picture or image and right click on it. Choose open with from the list of options. From the window that will open choose a pictures format to use for opening the images, for instance choose to open with windows picture viewer or ms office picture manager and then check the option for using that format for all the files that are in the same category as the one you are opening right now. See if that helps you solve the problem.

If the only problem is with images that don’t display or even copy to another location, try booting first using the last known good configuration option. Restart your computer then press F8 before the Windows logo appears. In “Advanced Boot Options” screen, scroll down and select “Last known good configuration” then hit Enter twice to boot. After logging into your account, see if the same problem appears.
If this doesn’t work, try using the System File Checker utility. Press the Windows key + R to bring up the “Run” dialog then type without quotes “sfc /scannow” then hit Enter. Insert your Windows setup CD or DVD when you are prompted then continue. Wait until it is complete. When it is finished, restart the computer. Try also checking your computer for virus infection.
Download Sophos Virus Removal Tool and install it. Once installed, start Sophos then wait for the virus signature database to get updated. When updating is complete, click to start scanning your computer. Sophos scans everything on your computer including devices connected via USB port.
When a virus is found at the end of the scan, remove it then repeat the scan over and over until it no longer detects a virus. Don’t disable your antivirus when using the tool. Sophos works alongside any antivirus program you may have. Note: this is not an antivirus so don’t use it as replacement for your antivirus. It is just a tool to remove hard-to-detect viruses.
It doesn’t have real-time protection like what antivirus programs provide. This tool will automatically stop working when it reaches the end of its usability period. If you want to continue using it, you have to download the program again.
