How to fix a memory stick malfunction

I'm getting this error everytime I plugged my memory stick to a computer, USB not Recognized. How to fix a memory stick malfunction? Is there a way to recover all my files in there? Please, I need some help. Thank you.

How to fix a memory stick malfunction

 

Hi there,

You may try this procedure to fix your problems regarding your USB ports.
1. Try unplugging the device and plug it back again
2. Try plugging the device into another computer
3. Unplug your “computer” from the “power supply” to remove the power to you motherboard
4. Try checking the “device manager” of the computer, see if there is any “unknown device” in the Universal Serial Port branch. Try updating software when you see one.

If these procedures don’t work at all, contact the device manufacturer for any suggestion for your problem.
