Hello Fellas, Today I copied some MOD files directly from a video camera to my computer. Eventually, I opened them using Winamp application but I got stuck when an  error says something like module plugin error. What is meant by this? . Hope anyone of you can help me figured this out.Â
Module Plug-in Error
Corrupt file or unsupported module type.
How to fix Module-plug in error in winamp?
As reflected above, you are using WinAmp to open MOD format directly from your CamCorder to watch it in your computer. From your post you did not mention the Version of Winamp you are using. WinAmp or the Windows Amplifier version 5 and earlier versions support such format. Because you are getting error, I assume you do not have the early version of WinAmp. I would strongly advise you to download the latest version of WinAmp.
I managed to have a picture from wikipedia.org of the Playback formats that Winamp Currently Supports below. You can refer through them, hope this helps.
How to fix Module-plug in error in winamp?
As the error message indicates the possible cause of the error will be one of the following:
-
The file that you are trying to access using the Winamp application on your computer is corrupt, and therefore cannot be opened. The file may have been corrupted during the transfer process and therefore you will need to try transferring the file again from the camera to the computer.
-
Check the file extension. If it is not in a format that is not supported by the Winamp application, then it cannot be opened. You will need to check which file formats are supported by the Winamp application and save the file in one format that will be applicable to it.
