How to fix my four computer gaming network problem

Hi,

   I have set up four computers for LAN gaming but I am facing a problem, every time all the four computers try to connect to the host computer, only two are able to connect and it alternates when the game is hosted by the other one computer.  What could be the problem?

How to fix my four computer gaming network problem

 

Hi James , hope the following steps will guide you in fixing of this issue.:..:

 

–>Its very exciting when we are in about to play in LAN as even i enjoy it playing AOE and coming to your query the problem is quite simple and will occur often and this problem is mainly due to IP conflict as the person who is hosting and only 1 player can join the team to play via LAN.

 

–>The best way to solve the problem is if possible replace wifi withe Wired LAN for the players systems whose not getting connected to play via LAN Network.

 

–>If the problem still isn't resolved then go to run and type "cmd" in command prompt then enter "ipconfig" check the ip address of all your players and whose address is conflicted change them dynamically via internet settings and IPV6 and then apply the changes you will be joined withe your other friends to play via LAN.

 

–>If problem is yet not resolved its better to host the game by another player so that there may be acceptance of all other also but occurs in rare case. Enjoy the LAN Gaming.
