How can I fix "Webpage cannot be displayed" message using command prompt? I am waiting for a solution. Thanks.

How to fix “web page cannot be displayed” message?

One of the methods on how to fix the webpage cannot be displayed error message is by checking if whether Windows assigned you an automatic IP address. If your IP address starts with 169 then you have an automatic IP address assigned to you. If so, that means that your ISP did not provide you with an automatic IP address which is stopping you from accessing the internet. In this case, you will have to contact your ISP for an automatic IP address so that they can configure your hardware. If your IP address does not start with 169, then there is a possibility that you are having a software conflict issue. Here are the steps on how to check your IP address:

• Go to Start
• Type CMD in the search box.
• Right-click on cmd.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
• Once you are at the command prompt, type in ipconfig then hit Enter.
• Look for either the IPv4 or the IP Address that is listed.

Following steps surely help you–

1. Firstly you have to clear the cache.  Click "Tools" then click "Clear browsing data".

2. Under clear browsing data popup, select the options "Empty the cache" and click "Clear browsing data".

3The process may take a few minutes up to an hour, depending on how many files you have.
