How to fix WinZip 16.5 error

Hi,

I use WinZip on Windows 7 to do encryption, compression and file sharing. WinZip is already installed on my computer and allows connection to Box, SkyDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive. However recently the program displays an error either on start up or a few minutes in use.

Assert Error (Dlg.cpp@112): The resource loader cache doesn’t have loaded MUI entry.

The file WZPreviewErrorReportLog.txt was created in the following folder.

C:Users|GeorgeAppDataLocalLow.

How to fix WinZip 16.5 error

Hello Keith, it is a great matter of sorrow that you are having trouble with WinZip.

Of course, it a cool application. As it has started malfunctioning, surely it has a bug.

In order to use WinZip, download the latest version and install it. Always the latest version gets known bugs fixed.

If you still face problems with WinZip, you should change using this. There are many free and good file compressor softwares that work like WinZip but in some case, even powerful.

I recommend you to use 7-zip, IZARC, PeaZip etc. All these are very famous and also with powerful protection system. All these are free.
