I really don't know what's happening with Internet Explorer. I try to run YouTube on it but the video doesn't load. The icon at the center of the video keeps on rotating and rotating and rotating. It seems like the video will load up forever. The most interesting thing is that other pages also don't open up while YouTube videos are loading. What might be the reason behind all the problems listed above? Don't suggest me a new browser because I like Internet Explorer.

Ensure the following steps and try viewing the video again.
 
1. In Compatibility view, the video needs to be tested.
Some web engines have been formulated for older versions of explorer. So switch to this view and check.
2. The necessary add-ons need to be enabled.
Do the following steps.
 
On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
Go to Programs tab, and Manage add-ons.
In the Currently visible list of add-ons, go to Run without Permissions.
The Status of the below Add-ons needs to be enabled.
Shockwave Active X Control
Shockwave Flash Object
Java Plug-in
QuickTime Plug-in 
Windows Media Player
3. Turn off this – ActiveX filtering and Tracking Protection. Some videos might be disabled if this feature is turned on.

If your browser cannot display or stream videos, check if Flash Player is installed. All web browsers require this plug-in to be installed on the computer to be able to stream videos. Download the following and install on your computer:

If this doesn’t work, you need to update your web browser to the latest. For Firefox, go to Mozilla Firefox homepage and download the latest. For Chrome, go to Google Chrome download page and get the latest version. This link downloads the standalone installer. For Opera, go to Opera for PC and download the version for your operating system.

If the problem continues, check the availability of the video you are watching if it is available in your country. If the video is not available in your country, you can use VPN to bypass the restriction. On the other hand, if other pages are not loading while YouTube is loading the video, it may indicate a slow connection.

If internet connection is slow on your computer and you are using a Wi-Fi router, try restarting your router. If the router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about ten to twenty seconds (10 – 20). Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle.

After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on.
