I want to control the access of internet at home as I am having a limited plan and need to keep track of the usage and block access when it is crossing the limits. Is there a way of controlling internet access at home?

Yes, every modem comes with an interface through which you can control the usage of internet data consumptions. To do so you need to find the default gateway and then you can find it using the command prompt. And by typing ipconfig in the command prompt so that you get the default gateway. That gateway address can be put on the address bar of any browser and login with the default password.

Once you are inside the modems interface, you can click on the parental control and set the options as per your requirements.
