How to get back recycle bin on my computer?

Hi everyone,

I accidentally deleted recycle bin from my computer desktop which is Vista. When searched online I got to know the solution is to format the PC again in order to get back the recycle bin as my desktop icon and also to search a command in the run bar under windows tab.Please help me what should I do to get the recycle bin again is there any way to get it back without formatting the system.

How to get back recycle bin on my computer?

Hi Alfred,

Below are the steps to get back your recycle bin as a desktop icon without formatting the system:

1. Place your mouse cursor on the desktop and perform right click, choose Personalize.

2. Personalize display will appear, choose Change desktop Icon. Desktop icon setting settings display will appear.

3. Tick on Recycle bin, then click Apply, then click OK.

Your Recycle bin icon should appear on your desktop.

How to get back recycle bin on my computer?

There is no need to search a command in the run bar. To solve your problem, Vista has a different process than other systems which is very easy. To make your problem fix in Windows Vista, you may follow the steps;

·        Start > Control Panel

·        Appearance and Personalization > Personalization > Change desktop icons

·        Recycle Bin > OK.
