How to get Bit Defender gadget for Windows 7 Ultimate

I have two computers now. Both are running Windows 7 Ultimate on 64 bit.

I thought I should try a different antivirus software and I have installed Bit Defender Total Security.

The installation was successful and yet I have no gadget installed.

I know that other software, like AVG, have one.

And I've read online that Bit Defender has one too.

But where can I find it?

Can you help me find or activate somehow the Bit Defender gadget for Windows 7 Ultimate?

It would be of use to me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ricky,

Follow these steps in order to have your widget appear on your desktop.

1. In the System Tray (bottom right corner of your desktop), right-click the Bitdefender icon

2. Then click on Show Security Widget.

Now you should have your widget on the desktop.

You can hide the widget by simply clicking on the [ x ] button.
