Hello experts,

How to get freeware repair fat table SD card? I would like to get some freeware version to repair my SD card, give me a step by step process and I will follow it slowly but surely just to fix my SD card. I hope you can give me a licensed software to avoid some unexpected viruses. Thank you.

Hello Kristen,

You can use windows default disk checker utility by going it's properties and select 'Check Disk'. In case if your SD card can't be mounted, you can use recommended and licensed SD Card formatter tool from SD Card association here:

Hi Kristen,

I have encountered the same problem as yours and I tried to log into this link given below. The following steps can also be used to repair your corrupted SD Card.

To restore files (from digital camera):

<Insert SD Card> to digital camera card slot choose to <format> your card from the <menu>

If it doesn’t work –

To restore files (from computer):

<Place SD card> in card slot or card reader

<right click> on SD card and choose <reformat>

Again, if it doesn’t work –

<download> software from https://www.cardrecovery.com/os.asp
