The BlackBerry Storm 9530 Smartphone is a 3G device operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies. It was unveiled on September 2008 and released on November 2008. Unfortunately, this BlackBerry model is no longer in circulation and has been discontinued. It measures 112.5 x 62.2 x 14 millimeters and weighs 155 grams. It uses a mini-SIM card.
It has a TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 65K colors at 360 x 480 pixels screen resolution. It runs on BlackBerry OS 5.0.0.419 powered by Qualcomm MSM7600 chipset, 528 MHz ARM 11 processor, and Adreno 130 GPU. It supports microSD expandable up to 16 GB. It runs on 128 MB RAM with 192 MB ROM and 1 GB internal storage.
The primary camera supports 3.15 megapixels with LED flash and autofocus. The primary camera features geo-tagging and can record video in 320p. It doesn’t have a secondary camera though. It has 3.5-millimeter jack; Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP; GPS with A-GPS; and microUSB 2.0. It doesn’t support WLAN and radio. It has built-in accelerometer sensor. The pre-installed web browser supports HTML. Java is supported.
It runs on a removable Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery with standby time up to 360 hours and talk time up to 5 hours and 30 minutes. It is available in black color only.
