Hi,

How to import image into access? Is there a way that a Microsoft Access database system will handle big images file? Would it possibly handle jpg, gif and png file formats? If there is some way that the ms access database can do so please let me know. Thank you.

Regards,

Benjamin.

Hi,

Its not usually recommended to store images in an Access Database because it bloats the size of the MDB. This makes the file more prone to corruption. A solution can be to store the files outside the mdb like in a table and store only a string path to the external  file location in the Access Database.  The string path can be used to display the images on forms or reports at runtime.

Thank you.
