I want to insert animated text in outlook as a signature. I already have created an animated signature using .htm and .GIF files. Initial search showed only first frame will be shown on the same. But for some reason it is not displaying.. The OS used is Windows 7, Enterprise Edition with SP1.
How to insert animated text in outlook 2010 in the signature.
Hello
First of all, you can only use .GIF files as animations, no other files are supported. Before you can import your animated signature you have to change some options.
Open your Inbox, go to Tools and select Options from the menu.
Click Mail format tab and change format to HTML, like on this picture:
Press OK to save changes.
Now compose new mail, then go to Insert -> Picture -> From file and import your signature. Notice, you won't see it's animation, you'll see only the first screen, but it will be animated once it gets to the receiver.
