Hello all, I want to install Oracle 10g XE on Ubuntu. What are the system requirements? I want to request the experts, please guide me through the step-by-step installation and configuration process. Thanks in advance.

How to install and configure Oracle 10g XE on Ubuntu?

 In order to install Oracle Database 10g EE you need to follow these few steps;

Add Oracle’s repository to your /etc/apt/sources.list file; take repository key and update packages information; install database with the use of universal package so as to have Unicode character support; you can then further configure the  DB instance
