How install Android Lollipop over Android Kitkat?

The Smartphones released these days have Android Kitkat in them. Few days ago, Android Lollipop was released. Now, I don't want to use the old Kitkat but want to upgrade to Android Lollipop 5.0. How can I do so? I have Lava Iris X1 if it helps. Where can I buy Android 5.0?

Hi,

Your “Lava Iris X1” Smartphone has in-built operating system “Kitkat 4.4” but if you want to upgrade your “Lava Iris X1” Smartphone to “Android Lollipop 5.0” operating system, you have to follow these steps: 
 

  • Firstly, charge your “Lava Iris X1” Smartphone battery fully.
  • For upgrading, your Wi-Fi network or 3G network should be recommended.
  • For installing the new operating system, your “Lava Iris X1” Smartphone should have around minimum 1GB free space.
  • Now, shutdown the “Lava Iris X1” Smartphone by pressing “Power off” button of your Smartphone.
  • Now, take the battery of your “Lava Iris X1” Smartphone.
  • After 30 seconds, insert your battery again into the “Lava Iris X1” Smartphone.
  • Then, connect your “Lava Iris X1” Smartphone with the Wi-Fi or 3G network.
  • Wait for some time and you will get a notification of “Download Update” in your “Notification Bar”.
  • Then, click in to the “Notification” and you will see a “Software Download Update”.
  • Click it and start updating.
