How to install DAP plug in Opera? I am not used to this web browser because I have been using Internet explorer and Mozilla Firefox. I learned that Opera is also a nice browser and that using a Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) would make my download process fast.

How to install DAP plug in Opera?

Hi there,

 

The first thing you have to do is to locate the file named "dapop.dll" on your computer. It should be located in C:Program FilesDAP, but you can also use the search to find it. 

Once you've located it, right click on it and click Copy.

Paste it into your Opera's plugin folder (usually C:Program FilesOperaProgramPlugins).

 

Start you Opera and check if the plugin is installed correctly by choosing Tools>Advanced>Plug-ins. You should see it in the list, if not, check again your paths, copy files again and restart the browser.

 

After the plugin is installed, open the Tools menu > Preferences> Advanced > Downloads. Notice the MIME type,change that to "Use Plug-in" and select DAP.
