Well, normally its a problem, which is not considered a problem though as your hard drive partition part C, is full and now there is no space to install the game. Whenever you try to install the game, the computer will give you an error, C drive is full or your drive does not have enough space for the required action.
What you can do is install the game to another drive of your computer easily. When you try to install the game in Drive C, change the location of Drive Path Where you found C:>Programs File> Games just click on browse button and change the location of C to D or E, which device to consider to prefer to give the location of D>games> then game name and install it on this drive.
You will be prompted during the installation process, where to save the game files. Change the drive letter or browse for the folder or drive where you want to install the game files.
If you are just copying a game and not using an installation file, you can copy and paste the file anywhere you want to put the entire folder of the file.
If you are using an installation file but not prompted where to put the game file, although this is impossible, try to continue installing the file, and browse for the game folder on the program files or in the root directory. Cut and paste the installed file on the other drive. I have mentioned that your drive C is full; you can’t do this option if your drive C is full. Try to find another game.
Good Luck!

By default, any applications installs on your hard drive. Storing games on another location depends on the game if they have the option that can save your games on other location. But even if you installed the game on another place, you still need to transfer the game folder on where you want to store your game. Which will be very difficult to do especially for older games. On some games, you can be able to choose the path where you want to install the game. I think Steam games has an option to install games on non-default place.
Anyway, I heard about the GameSave Manager which will allow you to move the games on other location.
