How To Install A Smart Card Reader With Different Methods?

Smart card readers help in performing the transaction and obtaining the card information. We need to insert the card into the reader, and it requires a physical connection.

Method 1:

Step 1: Go to Start, and then in Search programs and files box, enter Device Manager.

Step 2: Press Enter.

Step 3: You can see the smart card device in the list by double-clicking Smart card readers in the console tree.

Method 2: Manually installing it. 

Step 1: Go to Start, and then in Search programs and files box, enter Device Manager.

Step 2: Press Enter

Step 3: Select Browse my computer.

Step 4: You can see the smart card device in the list by double-clicking Smart card readers node.
