I have Ubuntu installed in my old laptop, but I’m not comfortable using this Operating System.
I tried Splashtop for iPad to remote access my Windows 7 desktop using it but it is very inconvenient for me.
Can anyone tell me if there is any other way to do this? I need to decide on what to use on the long run.
Thanks!
How to install Ubuntu for iPad?
Hi Alfonso,
So far it is not possible to install Ubuntu on IPad. But this cannot be true forever. Let us hope that due to user demand Apple may develop e a version of Ubuntu for IPad. I personally think that at the moment Ubuntu does not work on IPad because the operating system on which Ubuntu is based was made for ARM processor, whereas the apple A-7 chip is based around the ARM processor.
As a replacement for now, you can try using Slashtop with your IPad. Although it is not an good, or as easy to use an Ubuntu but it can help you use your IPad as you desire. For now you can just keep your fingers crossed and wait until Apple launches it for IPad.

Zorian Crust for the answers. I guess I'll just have to wait for future applications that will enable Ubuntu in my iPad. Thank you for the solutions though. Thanks TechyV!
