How to make illustrator export as dds?

How can I make the Adobe illustrator export as dds? I have found the Microsoft software DirectX 9.0 SDK having 223 Mb, they wrote it is suitable for that. But may be there is plugin in illustrator. Can you help me to find that, it will be better instead to download and install that large software?
