How to mass change picture name in PC

I would like to rename the images in my SLR Camera according to the occasion it was captured.For example Paris01.jpg, Paris02.jpg etc. How to mass change picture name in PC.Looking forward to any help. Thanks.

How to mass change picture name in PC

Hello

I will give you two solutions: 

1. After you rename one file, don't hit ENTER, instead press Tab and you'll be automatically switched to next file and name of that file will be selected so you can rename your files faster.

2. This is far better solution. Select multiple files, rename just first, for example Paris then press F2 and all selected files will be rename according to the first one Paris(01), Paris(02) etc.
