I want to mix my voice with audio files. I have a microphone. By windows default sound recorder I can record my voice. But my target is to mix my voice with audio. I record voice of mine by my headphone, while an audio file is playing in Windows.
Only my voice was recorded but audio wasn't recorded. How can I mix my voice with the audio?

How to mix voice with audio file in windows 7 ?
Hello,
Windows sound recorder only records what it hears through the microphone.  If you want to record the audio that’s playing, you will have to increase the volume of the audio so the microphone can record it. Â
While this option would work, the audio quality will be very low because you will have background noise, if it’s a case where you want to record your own song then I recommend using another software to sync the audio track and your voice, e. g.. Virtual DJ.
You can use the sound recorder to record your voice, while listening to the audio track. Then you can save it, after which if you so desire you can download and use Virtual Dj to sync. Â If you decide to use virtual dj to sync your voice, please let me know and I will provide instructions as to how to go about it. Â You can download it by searching for it on Google.
This is the interface for virtual dj. Â This program will allow you to record you voice=audio track very easily.
How to mix voice with audio file in windows 7 ?
Windows 7 doesn't have any audio mixing tool. There are may audio mixing tool available as freeware in the market which you can use for mixing your voice with some audio file.
I would recommend audacity. The link for download is as mentioned below:
