Microsoft has always charged a lot on OS upgrades unlike its competitors Apple and Google. How much will it cost for existing windows users?

It is true that Windows has always been on the higher side when it comes to their products when compared to its competitors. A report surfaced that the new windows 8 Pro upgrade may cost about $15 to be particular $14.99 for those who buy a windows 7 PC between the months of June 2nd and January 31st 2013. However the speculations as of now claim that windows 8 will range from $100- $250 for Home, Professional and Ultimate. So we should expect prices ranging from about $100 to about $300. All that we are sure of is different editions will have different prices.
