My friend in India is buying me the Micromax x250 GSM 900 Dual Sim phone.  I'm planning to ship it here in Africa.  How much would Micromax x250 price be if I ship it here?  Will GSM 900 work here in Africa?

Micromax x250 GSM 900 Dual Sim phone has features like Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery, 110 x 47 x 15.2 mm (4.33 x 1.85 x 0.60 in) body dimensions, 176 x 220 pixels, 2.0 inch display and VGA, 640×480 pixels camera. It's awesome with a cheap price of Rs.2550, where you are really getting more than  the cost. No, GSM 900 doesn't work in Africa.

How much would Micromax x250 price be if I ship it here?

Hi Bilu,

The latest market price of Micromax X250 in India is around 2250 INR and this price may vary from state to state in India. If the same mobile ships to Africa, for shipment purpose there would be another 300 to 400 INR required. This shipment price again may vary depending upon the courier service provider available in India. 

For GSM 900 MHZ band, you must check with the cellular operators that are available in Africa. You will come to know the exact frequency band of the operators. Due to historical and terrain reasons the frequency band of cellular operators differ in Africa, Europe, America and Asia.
