How office xp installation id is used to activate Windows

I am using Microsoft Office XP. But I'm unable to activate the product though I've office XP installation ID. How can I activate my product? Can anyone help me?

How office xp installation id is used to activate Windows

Hello Denver,

In order to update your copy of Windows XP, you will need to do the following:

• Get a new installation ID because the one you have is probably out of date. You will need to go to Microsoft's Website and get a new ID from there.
• Get a new copy of Windows XP.
