How often do new Apple laptop come out?

I am a high school junior and I really want a new Apple laptop on my birthday. I really want to use it for my school projects but the problem is I don't know what model should I buy on my birthday. How often does Apple releases new laptop models? Because I want to purchase a new one.

Hello,

There is no strict time cycle for apple laptop release. They release something when they feel it's right time for ti. So it can be one year, two, three etc. As I noticed Apple release new products every year, sometimes they release more then one products in one year. But speaking about laptops they release them about two years in cycle. So feel free to buy one laptop, you won't need to buy a new one for 7-8 years from now.

Apple Inc. does not have a specific pre planned schedule for releasing new devices, they just do it when the time is right and they are ready. However I have looked into their history in order to find a pattern and I have come to a conclusion that you should not wait and just buy a laptop right away. Apple releases a new laptop every year but online with very minor differences like color or adding an inch to the screen etc. So its safe to say that it will take a long time before the release a new laptop with great new features that is worth buying.
