Hello,

You can open Device Manager on a computer running Windows 7.

Mainly there are 3 ways to open device manger in windows 7.

1. In Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound. Click Device Manager under Devices And Printers.
2. Click Start, right-click Computer, and choose Manage. Click Device Manager in the Computer Management tree pane.
3. Open an elevated command prompt and enter mmc devmgmt.msc. Note that if you do not run the command prompt as administrator, Device Manager opens as read-only.

Hello Jack,

To open the device manager in windows 7.

Please follow the following steps mentioned below :

1. Go to Start > Control Panel

2. Select > System and Security 

3. Now locate the Device Manager icon under System Heading

4. Now you can open Device Manager to:

a. Watch System Resources

b. Update device drivers

etc.
