How to open .lit file?

Hi,

I recently downloaded a book from the Internet. The problem is, the extension of the book is .lit and I don’t recognize this format. I have tried Adobe Reader, Word and others but can’t open it. What software may I use to open this file format?

Please inform me.

How to open .lit file?

Hello,

The format you mentioned can’t be opened by Adobe or MS Word. It is a file format of Microsoft Reader, to read a book online. You may download this software here:

After you install it, you can read the book. You must have, Internet Explorer 5+ to read and manage this software. .lit is a file format which is secured by Microsoft. So, no other company can use it. It is not an available file format, as PDF is more suitable now. You can edit it, as you wish, more easily than .lit. It contains more functions than .lit. So, it is more reliable.

If you're fine with any other software, then don’t forget to paste it here. I will try that software, to see if it is better than Microsoft Reader. But I don’t think other soft wares can compete with Microsoft Reader, like no player can easily play .WMV format file like WMP.
