Slow connection is always a problem and could lost patient. In windows 7 how to manually and automatically optimize the wireless connection for bitter connection. Also provide security for outsiders that would attempt to connect.

How to optimize wireless connection in windows 7

Hi Witt Pottey,

I had the same problem but the solution was to change your WI-FI router channel in order to optimize your wireless signal . First, you have to download  the free inSSIDer utility, which will scan your wireless network. After downloading and installing the program, you have to run a quick scan and you will see your wireless network and the channel . Change the channel (ex : 6) to 9 and see if the signal has increased and once you have found the strongest signal , that means this is the best channel for you and that will make you internet connection faster.

How to optimize wireless connection in windows 7

Hello Witt Pottey,

I will give you the steps on how to optimize your wireless connection. These are the steps:

1. You can access your router's control panel by typing your IP Address in your web browser. The IP Address depends on the your router.

2. The default password is usually admin. And the user name is admin as well.

3. If someone changed the password, you can reset it to the default password. Just hit the reset button on the side or back of your router.

4. You may now optimize your wireless connection.
