By chance I came upon a page which gave a detailed instruction on how to use Hotmail store password algorithm to access someone's Hotmail account unauthorizedly.
I have been using Hotmail for about 10 years now and now after reading about this (turns out there are many ways to access somebody's account) I am very worried.
Is there any way I can make my account free from being accessed by anyone without my knowledge?

How to prevent hotmail store password algorithm from breaking in my system?
Yes, there are different ways to access someone's account unathorizedly. It is possible to access all the information from Hotmail, Facebook, Yahoo Servers or Databases. So these intruders can access your system. So it is advisable that you change your password on a regular basis. Those intruders sometimes sends a link that when users click on it, it will link the mail or upload the cookies or information stored in your browser to the user server. So it is very important not to click on any irrelevant links.

If you want to increase the protection level of your email account, you should enable or activate the 2-step verification. In Yahoo! Mail, this protection method is already applied as well as on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
When 2-step verification is enabled, whenever you log in to your account, you will be required to enter a code which will be sent to your mobile phone as a form of a text message or SMS. This ensures that the only person who can access the account is you with the help of your mobile phone.
In case your phone is not available, you can use a preset of codes to log in which you can generate from your account. In case an unauthorized person gets hold of your password, that person will still not be able to log in to your account because he or she doesn’t have your phone.
