What is browser hijacking software? What would it do to my system? Where would I most likely find it? How can I identify one when I see it? Is it some sort of malware? Please share some tips on how to protect my home PC from falling prey to the issues caused by malware.

How to protect my PC from malware?

Hello,

Malwares are just some nasty programs, developed by some nasty coders for destructive purpose. In order to protect your system from such issue, you have to make sure to have a good protection system and the latest version of your browser as well.

Browser hijacking tool attacks the connection of your browser with other servers and is able to read what data is being transferred from your PC to the server without any trace, like Heartbleed.

First of all, get any internet security solution, like Norton, Kaspersky, BitDefender, Avira etc. They are good to keep you secured while online.

Also, update your browser to the latest version. It’s good to check for new version once every month and install the latest updates if available. Get Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera etc. These are some good and secured browser.
