How to recover data from damage hard disk
Hi,
Kindly check to BIOS/CMOS Setup if your hard disk can be recognized. If yes, put your damaged hard disk to another computer  and set it as slave or put your damaged hard disk to an enclosure. In order to retrieve your files you will be needing a recovery software. A reliable recovery software is Recuva by Piriform. It is a freeware that is compatible with your Win2000, WinXp, WinVista and Win7 OS. You can retrieve your files from damaged or formatted disks, deleted emails, accidental deleting of files, deleted from recycle bin, digital camera card, MP3 player, and iPod.
You can download Recuva Software here:

How to recover data from damage hard disk
Identify what kind of damage your hard disk drive has. If your hard disk drive board was burned out, try finding the model of hard disk drive and then replace the hard disk board with the other hard disk drive.
If the hard disk drive is not detected on the BIOS set-up, try to disconnect and connect cables of your hard disk drives.
If the hard disk drive has a noisy sound or sounding like a clock. Sorry to say but your hard drive cannot be recovered anymore.
If the hard disk drive is detected but you are not able to boot, try repairing of your operating system or slave your drive to other computer and copy all those important file of yours and reformat the drive.
If the hard disk drive is detected but no file found on the disk, download a hard disk recovery tool to recover some files inside your hard disk. This may take time to recover the enter hard disk drive.
How to recover data from damage hard disk
Well, recovering the data on your hard drive will depend on the drive’s stat. If the drive has severe damage, I don’t think you will still be able to recover them. First, check if the drive is still detectable in the BIOS. Start your computer then press DEL, DELETE, F2, or whichever key is used to go to the BIOS.
In the BIOS, go to the drive management section then try detecting your hard drive. If the drive can still be detected, save the settings then exit the BIOS and try booting normally. Once you’re logged in to Windows, try copying your files to another separate drive like a USB flash drive to back them up.
Once all files are backed up, disconnect the USB flash drive or the external drive where you backed up your files then format your hard drive and install a fresh copy of the Microsoft Windows operating system. But, in case Windows doesn’t boot, remove your hard drive from your computer then connect it to a different computer. From there, copy all your important files to back them up.
After backing-up your files, remove your hard drive from that computer then connect it back to your computer. Now, format your hard drive and install Microsoft Windows again. Note: when formatting your partition during installation, select to perform a full NTFS format and not a quick format to mark all possible bad sectors on the drive.
Once you have a working Windows again, just restore the files you backed up from the other computer back to your computer.
