How to recover file psd from temp cs5?

I was editing some psd files in Adobe Photoshop CS5 when my system crashed. Nothing had been saved when I opened the file. How do I recover file psd from temp cs5? I can't seem to find the temp folder in CS 5. I'm on a Windows Vista 64 bit system.

How to recover file psd from temp cs5?

Hi Murz Furby,

Regarding your problem there is a 50/50 chance that you may or may not be able to recover your current work after your system crash. If you look at the location where you store all your PSD files you may find a file with an extension name .tmp.

Open your software and open the file with the extension .tmp and rename it to .psd. You may just be able to resume your work.
