How to have a remote access on other pc?

It’s very easy. If you are using Windows XP navigate to Start -> My Computer ->Right click and go to properties and select Remote tab. Then ‘Check the Allow Assistance invitations to be sent from this computer’ and ‘Allow users to connect remotely to this computer’ and click ok. You need you can select a time period, Group or individual users to connect using advanced options.
Then go to start ->All Programs ->Accessories ->Remote Desktop Connection ->you will be prompted to a login screen and type the computer Name or IP of the computer you wish to connect. After that you required to enter the Administrator password of that Computer to log in to that pc remotely. Its just same in Windows 7 and vista .You can figure out it easily.

If you want to use a remote computer, just follow the instructions given below.
- Click on ‘Start’.
- Click on ‘All Programs’, then ‘Accessories’.
- Now click on ‘Communications’.
- Click on ‘Remote Desktop Connection’.
- Now you have to enter the IP address of the remoter computer and click on ‘Connect’.
- Then it will get tin to the desktop of the remote computer and you have to enter the user name and password.
- Keep in mind that the remote computer must be configured to enable remote access. For that right click on the ‘My Computer’ icon and select ‘Properties’. Then click on the ‘Remote’ tab. Now check the ‘Allow users to connect remotely to this computer’ in Remote Desktop section. Click on ‘Select Remote Users’ button and add users to connect remotely.
