Hi Susan Rozack

I recommend you get yourself PowerPoint Unlocker that can modify instantly and securely removes any password. This application will enable you to reuse your slides, pictures and other elements within minutes after editing your new password. Hope that was easy right, instead of re-creating the presentation once more again. All the best Rozack.

Hello Susan Rozack,

Remove or delete the password from a PowerPoint presentation is not a difficult thing to do. As you have not mentioned which version of power point you are using so I'm giving you an idea of where you can delete the password because there isn’t much difference between the different versions of PowerPoint. Now go to the office button then click save as and select the PowerPoint presentation. From the save as dialog box click the Tools after that from the menu select the general options. Then a new dialog box will appear there you will find the delete or remove password option, choose between open, modify or both. At last hit on Ok to save the presentation to a new file or the original.

Thank you.

    • For PowerPoint 2003:

      • Select File menu then click Save As PowerPoint Presentation.
      • In the Save As dialog box, click the Tools button.
      • Select the Security Options and delete the password.
      • Click OK to continue saving the presentation to the original file name or to a new file name.
    • For PowerPoint 2007:

      • Click the Office Button, point to Save As, click PowerPoint Presentation.
