How to remove registry items of VLC Media Player?

Hi,

I'm facing problem with vlc media player. Whenever I try to uninstall it from my machine, I can't do it. I know it's related to registry items. But I don't know how to remove the registry items of vlc media player. Please, tell me in detail to get rid of the problem.

How to remove registry items of VLC Media Player?

 

Hi there user:

Make sure you have rebooted your computer before you do this procedure.

Go to Control Panel and then uninstall the VLC Media Player. If it (again) fails to uninstall, then (possibly) there are tools associated with it (VLC) which needs to be remove first.

Browse the list of the installed programs in your computer. Find and uninstall the programs or tools that are associated with VLC Media Player. Then uninstall VLC Media Player.
