If that problem is always happening whenever you access Facebook, see how fast your internet connection is. Visit Speedtest.net and click “BEGIN TEST” to test how fast your internet connection is. At the end of the test, you should see something like this.

Speedtest result

The value under “PING” is your current ping rate. It measures how fast you can connect to a server in milliseconds. The smaller the value, the faster your connection is. My current ping rate is high, 100 ms, which means I have a slow connection. “DOWNLOAD SPEED” and “UPLOAD SPEED” indicates your current download and upload speeds, respectively.

After measuring your speed, compare it with your internet plan’s advertised speed if it’s any way nearer or far too slow. If your connection is slow and you are connected to a router, try resetting your router. If your router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds.

Press any button on the router to further drain any leftover power. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. When the router is ready, try connecting again and see if it works. If there’s no change, try using a different browser like if you are using Mozilla Firefox, try using Google Chrome or the Opera browser.
