How to run foobar2000 directly from DVD?

Hello,

I’d backed up foobar2000 onto a DVD, but it seems it’s not working. When I try to run it, I get this error: "Could not access profile folder."

My guess is that Foobar2000 is trying to access the DVD ROM but obviously it cannot, since the ROM has the DVD on which I have burned the folder. If anybody knows anyway to run foobar2000 directly from the DVD, please let me know. Thanks!

How to run foobar2000 directly from DVD?

Your DVD disk is corrupted, you can get a new copy of foobar following by the instruction:

• Navigate to the foobar2000 homepage. Click "Download" and save the installation file for the latest stable release of foobar2000 to your computer.
• Open your "Downloads" folder. Right-click the installation files and selects "Properties." Select the "Permissions" tab and then click the check box beside "Allow executing file as program."
• Choose from a complete range of certificates with the strongest SSL.
• Right-click the installation file and select "Open with a Wine Application."
• Click "Next" to begin the installation and then click "I Agree." Click the radio button beside "Standard Installation" and then click "Next." Click "Next" to install foobar2000 in the default directory and then click "Install."
